Hello!  My name is Denise Olson.  I want to introduce myself, tell you a bit about my teaching philosophy, and how to contact me.

I have taught in the Minneapolis Schools since 1989 at Willard MST, Lincoln, Jenny Lind, and started Anwatin M.S. in 2008.  I completed my undergraduate degrees at St. Cloud State University and the University of Minnesota.  In addition, I have a Masters Degree from St. Cloud State University.  I am licensed in Secondary Language Arts, Secondary Remedial Reading, Secondary Developmental Reading, Special Education K-12 (Specific Learning Disability and Mildly Mentally Impaired). 

I believe that every child can learn and knowing about a student's learning style is key to success.  Communicating and collaborating with parents and teachers improves student achievement.
