Anwatin Receives $220,000 Grant From Super Bowl Legacy Fund

The Anwatin Middle School community is thrilled to be named the final grant recipient of the 52 Weeks of Giving Campaign made possible by the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee Legacy Fund.  On Thursday, February 1st NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, US Senator Amy Klobuchar, Vikings owner Lenny Wilf, Vikings legend EJ Henderson and other community leaders and notable representatives from the NFL rallied around Anwatin to celebrate a year of giving and announce their largest gift of $220,000 to directly support Anwatin students' health and wellness.

The grant will help Anwatin upgrade its athletic field to support movement for a variety of sports and recreation activities.  A portion of the grant will also support Anwatin's school garden.
