YOU Define Anwatin Excellence!
Wednesday, December 4, 2019 10:00 AM
The Anwatin community gathered Tuesday morning to launch this year's student-created, school-wide agreements, defined by student representatives from each advisory during a constitutional convention convened by our principal, Ellen Shulman.  As it relates to how we are and learn together at Anwatin, students declared that at Anwatin we continuously strive to:
  • Respect others
  • Be responsible -- do smart things
  • Be our best -- stay positive
  • Be open-minded and include others
  • Take care of our school
  • Be engaged in school
Building Community Through Shared-Interests
Friday, November 22, 2019 3:20 PM

This November, the Anwatin community launched an exciting school-wide inititative to invite students into leadership choice advisories where students can build community and explore a shared-interest in social and academic morning groups called Leadership Choice Advisories.  Teachers, staff, and community members have collaborated and are offering a range of experiences  - such as cooking, embroidery, reptiles, juggling, competetive games, event planners, and Spanish debate - just to name a few.  Read more here - and learn how you can support this work!

The Anwatin community needs you!  On Thursday, December 12th is Anwatin Middle School's annual Taste of Anwatin - an all-school international celebration of food, arts, service, and learning.  We'd love to have 30 parent and community volunteers helping with event preparations and support during the event.  Many hands make light work.  Add your name to our volunteer list and we'll follow up with you.  There are a range of opportunities available!
